DESCRIPTION
The clash of youthful rebellion with a conservative environment. Agata arrives in a small town near Krakow. Her job is to cook for the oasis participants. Agata’s arrival causes perturbations in the three-generation family – seventeen-year-old Mirek falls in love with her, his mother, an organist at the local church, discovers the demons of the past, and his grandfather, already suffering from dementia, sees Agata as his lover from his youth. The director tells with tenderness about the environment in which he grew up, about ordinary people and a simple truth – repairing the world should start with yourself.

DIRECTOR
Tomasz Jurkiewicz (1981), Polish director and screenwriter. Graduate of the Faculty of Management and Social Communication at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków and of directing at the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School in Katowice. He completed the Development Lab feature film course at the Andrzej Wajda Master School of Film Directing. He has made many short films and documentaries, for which he has won over a hundred awards at Polish and international festivals. "Everyone Has His Summer" is his feature film debut.FILMOGRAPHY
