DESCRIPTION
A love triangle in which the fire of emotions, inner conflicts, danger lined with lies, secrets and material temptations of a world full of luxuries are intertwined. On one of the Indian Ocean islands where the married couple, Léo and Lisa, spend their time, a chance meeting with Lisa’s former beloved, Simon, occurs. The lovers parted under unclear circumstances, and their affection explodes with renewed force. Nicole Garcia fantastically leads her actors, skillfully building tension and the tragic passion rising between the characters.

Nicole Garcia (1946) French actress, director and screenwriter. After studying philosophy and acting, she began her career on the stage. Quickly recognized and awarded an acting award, Conversatoire continues her career in theatre. Her role in Alain Resnais' Mon Oncle d'Amérique (1979) gave her a central place in French cinema. In 1985, she directs her first feature film, Un week-end sur deux. The universe of her films is very personal, filled with moving and complex characters.
