A graduate of journalism at the Jagiellonian University and of the Documentary Course at the Andrzej Wajda Master School of Film Directing (2003). He creates both feature films and documentaries. He was awarded for his short feature films “Problem” (2020) and “Daughter” (2015) at film festivals in Poland and abroad. He has directed several documentary films. An attentive observer of the world, he is considered to be a Jacek Bławut’s successor. He likes to work alone or with a small team.

Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, he has exhibited his works in Poland, the USA, Japan and many European countries, taking part in art festivals and solo exhibitions. Since 2007 he has been a lecturer at the PWSFTviT in Łódź. Member of the European Film Academy (EFA). Creator of animated films since 1996. His feature-length animated debut, “Kill It and Live This Town” (2020) is full of references to the world of culture, featured leading Polish film and theatre artists. With our guest we will talk, among other things, about the non-existent world, about Łódź as a city full of inspiration and how to accept the passing of time.
