DESCRIPTION
The story of poet, singer, artist Lucio Dalli is shown in a wider context – the post-war history of Italy up to the fall of the Berlin Wall. Rapid changes, a poor agricultural country entering modernity, the inevitable clash of attitudes, expectations and worldviews – all this is reflected in the work of an artist who was listened to by rich and poor, women and men. Dalla had an uncanny sense of people, of everyday life, of the excluded and the marginalized. A film about Lucio Dalla had long been a dream of Pietro Marcello, and the director – in addition to a social view – wanted to show not only the artist, but also the man before he became famous
The film was obtained with the support of the Italian Cultural Institute.
